Welcome all! My name is Steph (she/her/hers) and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, with a degree in Clinical Psychology. I have spent my time in the clinical field working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples within a community mental health setting. Additionally, I spent my graduate school practicum at a women’s recovery facility and supported women struggling with substance use. Through this work, I have had the pleasure of supporting individuals presenting with a variety of diagnoses as well as behavioral and relational challenges. I enjoy working with clients across the lifespan, with a broad range of needs and goals and I approach counseling from a strengths-based, person-centered lens. I believe that you are the expert of your life and I’m passionate about supporting you in creating and living the life you envision for yourself.
In addition to my professional background, I think it’s important that I share a bit about who I am on a personal level. I am a mother to a pretty awesome teenager and three dogs, I’m a Pisces, I love artichokes, being outside feeds my soul (i.e. running, hiking, exploring, camping, swimming, etc.), I enjoy the rain, I have an aggressive amount of plants (most of which I’ve kept alive), I never want to stop learning, I’m extremely passionate about organization, and I love connecting with people.
