Kathryn (Kat) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who received her Master’s from Rhode Island College, School of Social Work. She has spent the last 14 years working with children, adolescents, young adults (18-24), adults (24+), families, and couples in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient, residential, and school settings.
Kat incorporates techniques and strategies from an array of perspectives such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychoeducation, Family Systems, as well as Solution-Focused, and Strength-Based theories when treating clients.
Kat has experience as a victim advocate with Day One, providing support and services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Kat is also trained as a clinical interventionist, specializing in the treatment of addictions.
