Hi, I’m Kayla! I was born and raised in Rhode Island! I am here to help empower individuals with my strength-based approach and to help people make the changes that they want to see within themselves. I like to be person-centered, which means that I like to help people reach small and sustainable goals that are within their reach. I believe that therapy should be collaborative and I value a trusting relationship with all my clients. I can be somewhat direct when required, but I am also empathetic.
I graduated from Johnson and Wales with my Master’s degree in mental health counseling with a concentration in substance use. I have years of experience working with clients in many different settings that include home-based, inpatient, and office settings. I have worked with many different individuals with anxiety, depression, school related concerns, adjustment to changes in life, abandonment, peer conflict, life coaching, relationship concerns, and addiction. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I am able to offer individual, family, and couples therapy.
I look forward to being a helping hand and to offer support during your journey!
